1. Introduction
Tradeco Operations (Pty) Ltd, trading as "dbAuto" ("we", "us", "our"), operates a vehicle marketplace available at dbauto.co.za.
By using this platform, you agree to these Terms.
2. Nature of the Platform
dbAuto is a vehicle marketplace that:
- • Lists vehicles from verified dealers and private sellers
- • Connects buyers with sellers through our platform
- • Provides vehicle information, pricing and comparison tools
- • Is free to browse and enquire
dbAuto is NOT:
- • A vehicle dealer or finance provider
- • A guarantor of vehicle condition
- • Responsible for transactions between buyers and sellers
3. Vehicle Listings
Important notice regarding vehicle listings:
- • All vehicle information is provided by the seller
- • Prices, mileage, and specifications should be verified with the seller
- • dbAuto does not inspect or guarantee vehicles listed on the platform
- • Always conduct your own due diligence before purchasing
4. Dealer Accounts
Registered dealers agree to:
- • Provide accurate and up-to-date vehicle information
- • Respond to buyer enquiries in a timely manner
- • Not misrepresent vehicle condition, history or pricing
- • Comply with all applicable South African consumer protection laws
5. Prohibited Activities
Users may NOT:
- • Post fraudulent or misleading listings
- • Use the platform for illegal purposes
- • Scrape or harvest data from the platform
- • Interfere with platform operations
Violation results in immediate account suspension.
6. Limitation of Liability
dbAuto is not liable for:
- • Vehicle condition or defects
- • Transaction disputes between buyers and sellers
- • Financial losses from vehicle purchases
- • Indirect or consequential damages
7. Right to Suspend
dbAuto may:
- • Suspend or remove dealer accounts
- • Remove vehicle listings
- • Block users from the platform
If any misuse, fraud, or legal risk is detected.
8. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
